The Pitt Building, Cambridge

Pitt Building is part of the famous Cambridge University Press (CUP).  The historic building was home to the printing presses until they moved to their new home, but still hosts the panel that decide which books are published by the CUP, in the stunning Oriel Room.

The Pitt Building is situated in the heart of Cambridge, opposite the original “Fitzbillies”, close to King’s College Chapel. The venue has onsite parking for the organiser only, but has an agreement with the Doubletree Cambridge to use their car park if required.

The Oriel Room has a fixed boardroom table and can seat up to 24 comfortably.  The largest room is the Darwin that holds up to 100 theatre style or 30 boardroom style.  The Newton has pillars and is a large room but in front of the pillars the room can hold 40 theatre style or 24 boardroom. The venue then has 5 additional breakout rooms that can be used as syndicates or for catering. All the meeting rooms have built in screens and projectors or monitors.

The Pitt Building work with an outside caterer to provide a great range of food; catering for all dietary requirements.
