As venue finders and event planners we have all seen our world completely change in the last few months.  Our business is about helping people meet, learn and work together.  The processes involved have had to move to the virtual world for the short term – but are we beginning to see the first signs of movement back towards physical face to face meetings?  Should we at least start to think about how the future of events may look?

There are currently many unknowns: How will meetings and events change?  Will the changes be short term, long term or permanent?  When should we start planning our events?  What are the new things we need to consider?

I don’t think any of us yet know the answers to all the questions, but we have been working hard to build up as much information as possible to help everyone decide what is right for them.

We wanted to share this information with as many of you as possible – clients, event professionals and venue colleagues alike.  On the 18th June we are running a virtual conference that is FREE to attend.

We are aware that everyone’s time is precious, and so, much of the conference content will take the form of pre-recorded videos and downloadable PDFs (supplied by expert contributors) – these resources can be accessed on an individual basis at anytime on the day of the conference, so, if you are short of time, you can tailor the conference experience to your specific needs.

In addition to this valuable and varied content we have put together a panel of experts to answer your questions and discuss the issues raised throughout the event. You can email us your questions in advance or on the day and then join us live at 15.00 to hear our discussion.

The Panel consists of:

Philip Greer Director of Sales and Marketing at the University Arms, Cambridge

Richard Smith Director of Sales at Wyboston Lakes Resort

Melanie Searle Conference Manager at Newnham College, Cambridge

Steven Pritchard Assistant Director of Event Sales Royal Lancaster Hotel London

Melody Brooker Managing Director of Live the City

Jane Frost Director of Operations and Marketing at HotelRes

To register for the event, please send us an email using the link below. We will then send you access to the conference and joining instructions closer to the date. The content will be available for all registered attendees from the 18th June for 2 days.  The Live Panel discussion will be recorded and can be viewed on the conference site on the 19th June, should you miss it live.
