Ibis Cambridge

The station area of Cambridge is being completely remodelled and with its development come nearly 400 new hotel bedrooms. The first 231 have opened in the shape of the Ibis Cambridge, a budget brand that is part of the international French chain Accor.

The hotel has a coffee shop, a small meeting room suitable for 12 boardroom style and a breakfast room serving a buffet style breakfast to guests. The hotel has a modern and minimalist feel. There is no check in desk; instead guests sit at coffee tables with casually dressed staff, who check them in using i-pads. Room keys are replaced by a mobile phone app. The hotel does not have any parking but the station car park is behind the hotel. The Ibis provides an excellent product for the budget sector of the market.
