The Mint Hotels, formerly City Inn have changed ownership and name. The hotels are all now part of the Hilton chain, most have moved to the Doubletree Brand.

Doubletree by Hilton Newcastle is a newly built hotel located close to the terminal buildings at Newcstle Airport.

Grosvenor Hotel, Victoria, London has just completed £20m refurbishment, including £100k worth of gold leaf on the columns in the lobby.

Olympia, London is currently under going a refurbishment, the new West Hall is already open. The venue's sister hotel Earls Court is due to be closed and demolished in 2013. Most of Earls Court's large events have already been moved to ExCeL

Melia Hotels are opening a new hotel in London, close to The Strand, Somerset House and Covent Garden; the ME London is due to open on the 4th June 2012.
